gone but not forgotten
Buffy came to live with me when she was 8 weeks old,a tiny toy poodle and a bundle of joy.She was my constant companion and a member of our family. I took her everywhere with me. She had a great disposition and was very intelligent and loved by all.She was very friendly and loved going places and having visitors.I took her to Florida one winter and she was a good car rider(slept most of the way.) She sat in my chair with me in the evening and slept in my bed. In the winter she wanted to be under the covers. She loved taking naps with her teddy bear. She waited everyday to go for her walks and to play with her toys. She started having medical problems and losing weight 6 months before she passed away at the age of 16 years 8 months. The day she passed away she looked at me with tears in her eyes as if she knew she was leaving me.I feel very blessed to have had her so long. I have cried a thousand tears since losing her. She was the love of my life and I miss her terribly. I know on other dog could ever replace her in my heart. I don't know how long it will take to get over my loss but I think never. I have many happy memories of her and I am happy to have had her. My only hope is that someday we will be together again.
